Lin Changbo, General Manager of Dongfeng Liuqi, noted that with favorable national macroeconomic policies and an expected increase in the proportion of vehicle replacement and purchase to over 65% in 2025, significant market opportunities lie ahead. Dongfeng Liuqi will seize the historical opportunities presented by new energy development and the rise of national automotive brands, implementing a strategic transformation towards full electrification, intelligence, and internationalization under the guidance of Dongfeng Group.

The company has accumulated core technologies in new energy research and development, green supply chains, production, logistics, and products. It has completed product planning for both commercial and passenger vehicles and is now in the full implementation phase. The commercial vehicle brand, Chenglong, is committed to developing a range of new energy commercial vehicles, including electric, hydrogen fuel cell, hybrid, and clean energy vehicles. The passenger vehicle brand, Forthing, focuses on the Forthing Xinghai new energy series, aiming to provide users with the most reliable and warm mobility solutions. As an innovative test bed for Dongfeng Group's new energy strategy and a key player in China's national new energy team, Dongfeng Forthing will further focus on the Forthing Xinghai new energy series in 2025, achieving comprehensive and deep transformations in products, user experience, and brand image. At the conference, Assistant General Manager Lv Feng shared Dongfeng Forthing's marketing strategy and plans for the year. He stated that with the continuous growth of the new energy market in 2025, despite increased competition, Dongfeng Forthing will fully transition to the new energy era. The company aims to achieve a sales target of 160,000 units, with an aspirational goal of 200,000 units. In 2025, Dongfeng Forthing will invest 2 billion yuan in R&D, driven by a dual-core strategy of demand and technology. By integrating "scenes, needs, and experiences" and leveraging a tripartite approach of in-house research, group collaboration, and strategic partnerships, Dongfeng Forthing will establish core technological competitiveness. The company plans to launch 11 new products, covering SUVs, MPVs, and sedans. In terms of marketing, Dongfeng Forthing will focus on three key segments: home-use MPVs, new energy sedans, and commercial MPVs. It will also enhance its terminal capabilities by upgrading five major marketing systems: new media operations, user engagement, grassroots marketing, key customer marketing, and DFSW sales management, thereby increasing brand visibility and technological authority.
